Birth Day Senior Citizens Must Celebrate
At present, Birth Day a big thing for children particularly those studying in so called public schools, was an unknown event before fifties when people celebrated a happy birthday with a new baby every year as large families with six to twelve in some cases even more was the norms. Society has changed now, people have two-three happy birthdays during their married life, sometimes even nun as they want to enjoy life as they like not as the nature or routine prescribes, so celebrating their own happy birthday has become a norms: it is more so with the oldies who live alone for one reason or the other. I should say it must be an every year event for every senior citizen: it brings with it a reason to enjoy the bonus years the most wonderful years: to meet friends relatives at our own ceremony well dressed and well groomed too, to have new costumes, see the others their manners and behavior too; to know the well being of others and create an opportunity to express yourself before others and for others above all with the tinkling of glasses full or half or half full “Rampur”, “Sangam”, “Johnnie Walker Black” or the ever loved “Old Monk”, broad smiling and laughing faces sometimes looking so wild and other so lovely, eyebrows up and down sometimes down and up, beating of the drums and wild dances on Punjabi Tunes sometime with the evergreen “Come September” and most modern “Tere Vaste” too, tasting “Harbhara Kabab” “Fish Tikka’ “Chicken Tikka” and “Paneer Tikka” with ever green “Dal Makhani” and hot-um-hot Chapaties dishes not mentioned the unknowns, so much of Halla Gulla so much hustle and bustle too all with greetings with “Meet and Greet” motto without bothering to whom it is directed to, with gifts galore for the celebrity young seventeen for seventy and eighteen for eighties, gifts many collected placed far away to be opened at night to be returned appropriately subsequently may or may not be.
All this for whom. For the Great Oldie who had the courage and much better if arranged by Children and still better if presented as surprise to the Actress/ Actor.
This is the best use of money before everything goes waste so do it as many times as He allows and live the Golden Years in a Golden Way and Golden Style, enjoy to your fill and will and Thank Him “Dandvat” for the opportunity showered.
