Lao Tzu Once one of my colleagues was called by his Boss (known for hard hitting remarks and decisions too) to discuss a case and given left and right dressing as told by him, for a note: not as per the expectations of the Boss, but he did not utter even a single word to defend himself, just remained standing straight, attention, his head down, without eye contact with the Boss, arms straight and fingers crossed as usual in obedience, ears wide open listening each said word-a statue like and at the end of the burst Boss asked, “Are you going to retire soon”, he replied, “Day after tomorrow Sir”. Boss then said, “Then go back and send your Supervisor”. He came outside his Boss Chamber relieved, stress and tension free relaxed and happy as it was his last dressing, end of the road and outside the tunnel: replied in silence ...
